Default Best Head gasket

I will be pulling the heads off my 289 and want to know what is a good replacement gasket?
I have already ordered the Felpro 1250 for my intake.

I guess I should ask what good upper end gasket kit I should buy. Headers, intake(already have), timing cover, water pump, and thermostat, RIGHT?

Thermostat and water pump I usually just use a bead of RTV as a gasket. When I built my first 302 I had all Felpro.

The thickness and compression between the 2 head gaskets are slightly different.

There is a blue one I use, there is also one specifically for thermostat housings.

Here is one you can use.

Nice thanks. I wasn't sure which rtv to get. I will try your blue one first!

So one is 9.1cc and the other is 8.5cc. I would think I would want the lower cc correct?

Best head gasket, Cometic bar none. I use them on every motor I build.
