What are the benefeits of installing one of these? what do they do? I know they help to start your car.

They give more power and quicker start ups. supposedly. I have installed the Ignitor 2 and flamthrower 2 coil. I haven't felt much of a difference, but im sure there is.

It adds maybe 1 or 2 ponies of HP, so that is not the reason for the electronic ignition. It is just simply more reliable and accurate, and never wears out as compared to points.

yes, it turns your old point distributor into an electric. you will most likely never change points again, you will start a lot easier, and it will greatly improve idle and mostly eliminate false starts/ help hesitation.

yea i definately need one. I hate looking like an idiot when i try to start her up for my friends and it takes a second.[:@]

HAHAHAHAHAHA, i know what you mean. Mine stalled out in front of a whole bunch of people one time, then it wouldn't start up.

I have to rev my car up other wise it will stall because the carb is sooo bad.

Its a carburetor, youre supposed to rev it a little. If you didnt have to, what fun would it be to have a carburetor?
