Question 1989 Shifter Linkage

Hey Guys, I have a 1989 mustang. The previous owner converted it from a 4 cyl automatic to a 302 automatic. It appers that the previous guy was going for more of a "drag/strip" car. Currently the car has a B&M Truck Megashifter. I bought the console hammer because its alot shorter and more compact. So I went to install it and i noticed the hammer shifter has a ballend connector for the shifter linkage and did not come with a new cable. I cant find the correct linkage from any autoparts store and I am just lost as were to go next. B and M has so many cables i dont want to get the wrong one. The current cable goes from the shifer over the tranny and wraps back around its obviously way to long. Any input advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!! I dont know where to go from here
Thanks!
