Default T5 question

Im looking at putting a t5 into a 67 and got hold of one today but am a little bewilldered. on the drivers side near the top just behind the bellhousing there is an opening where it looks like a hose or a sensor goes into, its about 1/2-3/4 inch in diameter threaded. can anyone tell me what this is for and what to do with it...I know Im a dumb*** but this is my first attempt at a t5. Its a borg warner world class numbers on side which I cant find anywhere either are- 13-52-097-913 which maybe someone can decipher that for me as well.

i thought the backup light switch was the one in the side near the middle with the two prongs sticking out for wires to go on this is like a large port you would see for a transmission cooler line which of course this doesnt have but thats what it looks like and no the tag was not on it
