well i figured out that the flex plate on the c4 is a wee bit smaller than the aod which is why i have not been able to bolt it up...but i ran into another problem, the thing doesnt quite fit into the transmission tunnel...do i need to make a dent in the tunnel to make it fit...it would be a small dent bout the size of half a baseball...and also i cant seem to find the linkage that someone already make from the shifter to the tranny. i was thinking of getting some aluminum tubbing and bending it by hand until i had the bends i need to make the shift linkage work the fabricated my own out of steel. any suggestions?

sad think is i have all the parts in my garage to finish this whole car, right down to the stereo. just keep running into speed bumps.

 

Be very careful with the TV cable IIRC, you can toast your AOD in one block in not done correctly.

 

are you talking about the electronics conversion?

 

Nope...that would be an AODE. I don't know all the details, but I would if I were you. Maybe someone else does?
