Default Need advise about suspention

Hello my name is Alex i have a 1970 mustang grande that i am in the process of restoring. I put my suspension back together about 4 months ago and have had it on stands till now. Once i put the front tires back on i realized that the top on the tire was up against the upper ball joint on both sides.I was wondering if someone could give me a suggestion on how to remedy this.

The offset on the wheels must not be right for the car. That's all I can think of

If you changed out the wheels, you can use adapters that push them out by the difference from the old ones.

You can find the spacers on ebay for a good price. What wheels do you have on the car, offset? What size tires and rims?

I wouldn't trust spacers its safer to buy new rims that fit.

Spacers vs. adapters...a world of difference and price.

Does the tire touch when the suspension is loaded, or when the car is jacked up? (Suspension fully extended)

If the shock absorber is not installed, and the suspension is fully extended, the tire touching the UCA might mean..... nothing...
