Default Help with Powertrax

Hi everyone,
I just discovered this site and have been spending time reading through all the old posts. Lots of great information!!
I have a 66 C code with a warm 289, C4 and 2.8 Diff. Ive decided to get a 3.25 centre, and want an LSD, however as Im in Australia, this diff wasn't used in many of our domestic cars, and as such are very hard to find. I have found this Powertrax system by Richmond Gears,

http://www.powertrax.com/noslip.html

I was wondering if anyone has used this before or heard anything about them?
Also, when talking about the diffs in thye 65/66 mustangds, they are sometimes refered to as an 8" and sometimes an 8 3/4" and sometimes and 8.8" which is it??
Thanks in advance.

I read through the material about the powertrax, and it appears to be able to do what it reports that it will do. But, I have not used one, so can't really comment on it. The Mustangs either use an 8.8 or a 7.5 differential.

When I owned half of a machine shop we made all those parts for powertrax. I knew the guy that designed the system. But never seen one installed.
