Default some hood pics

got tired of working on my drivetrain today so i installed the new hood to see what it would look like. the new rear deck looks good too. ill probably install the new front valance today too, its the one that opens up for the radiator but still retains the stock bumber. has anybody widened the opening to install a wider radiator?

paint: im going silver metallic w/ large black racing stripes. interior will be black with many billet aluminum parts. hopefully it will go into paint and body in a few weeks, i should finifh Aod today then install the 9' tomarrow, then i have to measure for drive shaft. once that is done i can take it to my mechanic to install the disc brakes and all my suspension, steering, and handling components. then back to my house so we can pull the drivetrain and completely strip the car and off to paint and body!!

almost there!

Hey Ez, can you post a few more pics... maybe from the front corner view? I'm thinking about going with a hood like this on my '67.

I'm in a good mood today, so I won't pick on you. Actually, that hood looks nice and clean compared to many I have seen butchered.

Did you have any problems aligning the fender with the hood? Im not talking about spacing, but the height of the edge being different.
There is an article in the newest mustang monthly where they installed a fiberglass hood and had to put shims underneath where the fender meets the apron to get it aligned.

Did you replace the springs for the hinge too?

Thanks Ez, that looks pretty slick... keeps the Mustang look but adds a little Honda kickin' attitude!
