Default Headers And electric Choke?

Can I have an electric choke carb with shorty comp Headers? I ask this Because I know you must have a Line going from the exhaust manifold to the electric choke thingy to bring heat.
Do the shorty super comps have such a hole for this fitting? Or Do I need to get a manual Choke?

You will be fine. Electric choke carburetors DON'T have the tube going to the exhaust manifold.

What kind of carburetor is it? The reason for an electric choke is so you don't have to have a heat tube.

Modern electric chokes use an internal thermostat, not using exhaust temperature.

Are you saying it's an Autolite 2100 2bbl? If so it will have a heat tube connection but it should not have an electric choke coil (unless it was modified or a conversion kit installed).

A 2100D is an autolite 2bbl carb Electric choke. A 2100 CARB is MANUAL CHOKE

Yes, I know. What year is your car and/or motor? I didn't think the electric choke 2100's were used until 1974 or so.

Tyler, trust us, you dont have a electric choke, and just to be sure, put up the pic of your carb.
