I have a 68 convertible that was some one else's project they never finished. There is no vin tag on the dash. At first i thought they took it off when they painted the dash. But now that i look at it closer i dont see any holes on the dash were it would attach. Is there suppose to be one there or are they just stamped on the inner fender panel.

 

Did they maybe put in a new dash pad? All 68's should have a riveted dash vin plate.

AIR, the 68 was the only year it was on the right hand side of the dash - did you look over there?

 

No I didn't look at the right side. I will take a look. Thanks for your help
