How do i ground my Dash cluster?
Just run a wire, the same guage as the other ones. Connect to behind the regulator on the cluster. I believe thats where it's supposed to go. Then just ground it somewhere on the dash.
there must be a power wire connected to that cluster. Just for a test, hook up the ground wire and touch it to the cluster. More then likely it will spark. If it does, then there is a wire on the cluster, that is not hooked up properly or shouldn't be there at all.
yeah the guy before us had the harness labeled wrong. I just got back from pepboys. We test the ground and that is indeed the problem. Im getting ready to solder my ground wire to some circle thingys that you use with screws. then i will have light. Pics to prove also!
OK They work now!!!!!!!!!!!
Id like to thank everybody that helpedme through a stupid topic. The problems were: the headlight switch was bad, harness not plugged in right, and cluster not grounded properly.
I sacrificed a nice battery and maybe a starter solenoid trying to fix this problem.
