Quarter skin
I just got my skin from CJ's looks like a good part. old quarter was hit hard behind wheel. I straightened it but found a couple of rust spots so $80 was a small price to pay and skinning it will take less time than repairing old quarter
Really?, I'll look into it. I'm not getting any younger and this is the last time I dont want to do this again thats why I am skinning it. But if I can get a full quarter I'll do both.
Just be careful, the full quarter may be a little tough to line up. A skin is easier but the full quarter is a better way to go, just a tougher job. Mustang Monthly has a good articel for each.

Full skin involves more advandced cutting/drilling as well as welding. To change an entire quarter panel youre going into a lot of the original structure to take it out. I wouldnt recommend doing it if you have little or not body experience, but if you do have the experience and the tools, by all means that is the better way to go.
The repair panel won't hurt you though, if you put it on right everything will be fine so dont get discouraged because you've been told that the full change is better. A repair panel works great also!
Good luck.

I know skinning is ok but with full quarters I can get the whole back end straightened out. The car was rear ended long before I bought it in79 and the repair was very good but the right corner by the deck lid has a gap that is larger than the left. With the skin off I can pull the rest up and weld in place but a new full one would make it easier. This may be a mute point since I cant find full quarters for 67 FBs.
