NOS. What does it mean?

Im not talking about nitrous oxide. Im talking about when an auction says something like
mustang tail lights NOS.

New Old stock.

It basically means it comes from the time when they originally manufactured the product, but it didnt go on the car.

if you can find NOS parts that you actually need (very rare--usually mechanical things) then it would be advisable to buy them. Very good for the authenticity of your car.
