Does anyone know if you buy the new rally pacs they have now, if it includes the sender? It says includes wiring, but i was wondering if anyone has done it.

Unless you are running a distributor-less engine, there are no senders needed. The clock hooks up to a B+ and a B-. The Tach hooks up to Ign, B- and Dist.

If you are running a distributor-less system you can get a pulse generating module from Summit or any of the other finer establishments.

BTW: the repro Rally-Pac will not interfere with your ignition should it fail (like the original ones did).

Oh, Thats how they worked. Thats cool. I'm really thinking about buying one, because i want a tach badly, and would rather go original and not aftermarket.

They cost 469.00 for our year and engine soaring. Hey, i need a clock too. Nothing like a clock and tach for 469.00.It looks cool though.

Who needs a clock? The Seiko on my wrist keeps perfect time. As far as a tach is concerned, I use my ears to know when to change gears. But, I don't race Old Yeller, so don't need a tach. I do, however know why the racing guys need a tach.

Thats How my dad changes gears...by ear. Its not that hard. I wish i had a manual. Then I would have manual steering, brakes, and transmission. Hey, did the 65 have a c4 automatic option?

Im sorry, but having a manual transmission with manual brakes and manual steering will make your driving experience hell. Especially for someone who hasnt gotten their license yet. You'll hit so many cars backing out trying to shift, and putting your foot on the brake.
