car wont start

Default car wont start

i installed a new distrubitor and hooked everything up and my car wont start when i turn the key on nothing happens. i checked the volts to my coil and its reading 5.9 volts and i have a new battery, any idea on what to check first

When you say nothing happens, does that mean the engine doesn't turn over? Or that it turns over but doesn't fire or....? What about the dizzy replacement--stock or other? Why did you replace it? Hard to tell what the problem is without more information.

Would you be please more expressive regarding the problem, is it happening first time ? have you checked the radiator ?

i finally figured it out the distrubitor was out of time and it wasnt mounted completely in the engine
