Default Transmission or Clutch problem help please

So i have a 65 mustang that i put a 5.0 w a t5 tranny. did an oil change put royal purple 5w30 in it new filter and all starts great after but when i went to put in reverse loud grinding noise. thinking it is the clutch since i cant shift into any gear even with clutch pedal all the way down. Any ideas?

well reverse gear isnt synchronized like the rest..you can put it in any forward gear(i normally use 3rd then put it in reverse with no noise)

as for getting it in other gears your clutch linkage or cable etc must be out of adjustment

You're not fully engaging the clutch.

if you put it in gear and push the clutch in with your foot off the brake does it try to roll
