Default electrial problem

any one know what the yellow wire is supposed to connect to? someone has cut it and it is just hanging. it is connected at the other end to the # 5 terminal of the dash plug on a 69 mustang mach 1 non-tach car. Also anyone know how to add a picture to this thread?

Do you have an ammeter gauge in your cluster? Is it working? The yellow in '68 was for the ammeter, probably the same in '69.

Pics - right above where you type your question you will see an icon with a mountain and the sun, click that 'insert image' and it will give you a box to paste a direct link to your pic. You may need a hosting site like photobucket, etc., many are free.

Thanks, I traced the printed circuit board & it appears that it goes to a light in the dash that is a warning light for the brake system. When the rear disk brakes were installed a new equalization valve was installed. I am assumming that the wire was cut at this point.
