well since it has GT40p heads you need special(more expensive headers) personally id get my own explorer motor with regular gt40 heads(96-97.5) from the pull a part junkyard for 200$ add a cam and intake and your oil pan and front dress(and a 50 oz balancer with 3 bolt holes) youll be cheaper in the long run...

Time is money. You could go get the parts and stuff yourself, dump it off at a machine shop for honing etc....or you could get that block there already put together. Compare some 302 crate prices and see what the average price is. I think that it's a good deal. Just depends on how much extra time you have. The will make it a deal or not a deal.

Time, Patience and Money. Lower one of those three and you'll have to pay with the other two.

Seems like a good deal - I've been looking for soemthing similiar. I'd check on the headers though on heads for cost like rmodel65 said.

I don't understand why I need headers. I believe it comes with ceramic headers is that not right?

It has headers already, so your right, it doesn't need any, unless those won't fit your car, which they may not as they may fit only a late model car, then you will need headers for your car.

I would go for it unless they decided to sell it because they found something they didn't like and wanted out of it.

those headers wont work...and gt40p heads have a special angle spark plug..they are way more expensive than standard headers for classic cars...(unless you have your shocktowers notched/removed etc)
