Default duct tape the ultimate savior

hi again, on my 70 coupe my power steering went out i looked under car and the cylinder and pressure hoses had holes in them now i need my car really and dont have time to go buy hoses at stores where they dont carry them! or wait for them to come by order, now i was thinknig these holes are not huge bery a little tear in the rubber and the fluid seaped out through the insulation, if i wraped it up nice and sticky and tight with some duct tape do u think it would hold for a while?

Enough time to get a new one. Why risk causing more damage? What i meant by that is enough time to go to pepboys so like an hour!

That's one long sentence buddy.

No, Duct tape will not hold back a liquid if it's under pressure.
