Default Original Air cleaner Element

Hey guys. Im restoring my old air cleaner assembly and I have a question. What are the demensions of the stock air cleaner element? I would like to order a K&N element for it. Im thinking probably 10x2?

well if u bring the part to a part stor and buy the filter there then they will fit it

wow did you sand blast that and re paint it woth the gun? Looks brand new.

I actually couldnt wait to get paint so I went ahead and did it with rattle can paint. Duplicolor actually goes on quite well.

Looks good, but is that the right color? The color on the tube doesn't look like Old FOrd blue. or is it a diiferent color then the air cleaner?

Yeah, its the right color. The lighting was really bad, so I enhanced it in photoshop, but I couldnt retain the color. It's the same color as the air cleaner (old ford blue).

Looks good Allen. Just take your air cleaner filter that already fits to a parts place and have them measure it. There were 14 inchers and 13 point something others. I am gaad you are trying to get cold air in there. It can't be that hard to get a cold air filter to fit your engine.

Maybe the stock air filter doesnt take the heat directly off the engine.

The K&N type of system of air induction which draws air from the outside of the car instead of from the engine compartment.
