Default Front disc brake conversion advice needed

We are doing a full restoration of a 1965 coupe, with every nut, bolt and layer of paint removed.
This is a multiple part question because all of these factors are intertwined. We obviously want to go with front disc brakes, and that is the heart of my question.
The current engine is a 302 automatic, and I am sorry I can not tell you the type transmission or rear end.
Without spending $2,000 on front disc brakes, what is an affordable way to put great quality front disc brakes on a Mustang?

We also are not set on the engine yet. This car will be for my brother's son, who will turn 16 in a year and a half. We want it to be show car quality, but it will be a daily driver.

Again, the heart of the question is the front disc brakes. Your advice is greatly appreciated, brand names to alternate ways of accomplishing this element of the project.

I have the CSRP OE-style kit, which is a bolt-on as long as you have the V8 (5-lug) spindles on the vehicle. It's essentially the same as the kit posted above. I've had the kit for ~7 years now and I love it.

Another vote for CSRP
Very good kit and customer support from Dennis!
Website lists kit at $524 still.

Our price has been the same for 8 years, no increases.

Includes everything shown on the linked kit plus stainless braided brake hoses, slotted rotors, adjustable push rod, master cylinder with residual pressure valve for the rear brake, correct caliper mount bolts (not just grade 8, but correct grade 8 shoulder bolts), adjustable proportioning valve with mounting bracket, more desirable plate style anti-rattle clip/pad retainers, dust shield/backing plates, a metal bench bleeding kit, thread lockers, and wheel bearing grease. Cost $75 more than the linked example.

Holy forgetfulness! I bought a complete CSRP setup like 5 years ago and never installed it. Went with front and rear Wilwood disks instead. I need to go find this setup sometime and sell it lol. I know its here... Somewhere!
