Default What does the Harmonic Dampener read?

On my Mustang I can't read what the Harmonic Dampener reads. I know the last one reads TDC (Top Dead Center) and I don't know what the others read. Does anyone have the same thing and if so what does it actually say? Also where should you time it at? Online said anywhere between 8-12 and the books say 12. I have a inline 6, 200 sprint with an Automatic transmission and a distributer that doesn't have the Thermatic on it.
