Yeah, I know, but I forgot to take any before I started taking it apart. But the top of the tire was slightly above the fender lip.

I already had to replace the rear springs because it sat way too high in back.

One more question. How long should it take for the springs to settle into the ride height? 15-20 miles? More?

And once it's settled, how much of a drop will half a coil cut make? A whole coil?

I don't mind doing it more than once, but I don't want to do it too many times, dealing with the shock is the worst part ....

Question, you did use the plastic/nylon spring seats / spacers right?

Yes, I used the insulator.

Here's a side shot after installing "stock" springs and a quick trip around the block. I like the stance but am sure it will settle more. WTF?

This just doesn't make sense, everything is new. What could cause it to sit too low like this?

Wait...it looks higher than mine? Are you sure the issue is not just alignment or too many shims behind the UCA causing the tires to be closer to the fender lip than you are used to?

EDIT: What brakes are those? Did that brake conversion alter your track width?

FWIW This was my car with 45 year old worn out parts.
