Another vid taken just after it was first started........I gotta figure out how to get the idle down..........the TPS is adjustable on this throttle-body so I have a feeling that's what the issue is. Any ideas out there?

Your son and daughter are extremely lucky to have such a nice car for their FIRST car! I hope some day to have this kind of opportunity to do this when I have kids!

I took a TON of pictures as I went along.........I also did every bit of it myself, (except for wiring the ignition and mating it to the factory harness), so I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. First things first.........I wouldn't convert that 289........I bought a complete EFI 5.0 and started from there. The only advantage I could see to the 289 is you wouldn't have to move the dipstick to the front (it's already there) and you wouldn't have to swap the oil pan and oil pickup. You also wouldn't have the roller cam setup....not that it couldn't be done of course!!! :-)

And thanks! ;-)

Thanks for the reply.. i have been trying to go this route
http://www.mustangsplus.com/tech/efi/

since we had a complete 289 that we tore down.

aaargh more money to spend maybe ill start looking for a complete 5.0 EFI with the transmission, ebay and craigslist here i come.

everybody here would love a write up or maybe just start posting some pics of the most difficult areas of the swap.

Thanks
