Default 1966 289 Oil pressure sending unit removal?

I have no idea how to tackle this...the power steering pump is in the way, right on top of it! Is there any way to remove the oil pressure sending unit without removing the power steering pump?

yes, just unscrew it. There is a hex extender that is approx. 4inches long. remove the sender, not the hex. If you need to get the sender in a diff. position, turn the hex extender a little
