Just came across a very unique mustang. i was going over to advanced auto parts, and stumbeled across what apeared to be from the back, a shelby, but upon more looking, the rear decklid said, stallion! the rest of the car look pretty much the same, but after coming home, i did some research, and found out these cars were sold to canada only! i got the website on the info. aparently it was only one of eight made, and to how it ended up in colorado is beyond me. i took plenty of pic ill post in the when you get to the site click on mustang specials and scroll down to the link.

Thanks ttoney i appreciate the photo. they are weird looking mustangs i must say, especially that weird vinal roof thing they got going on. i cant seem to get the digital camera to put the pictures on my computer so im gonna try a different one soon.

 

I just never fell in love with those Shelby tail lights. Makes it look too much like a cougar. Also, seems like the butt end of that thing is jacked up a little high isn't it? Anyway, I have never seen one, so thanks for sharing the pic.

 

Sure. Anytime. I tried to find the website but my alzheimers just won't let it out of my brain. There are VERY few of these, seems like less than six left if I recall. There is a couple of pages of info linked to from on of the registry sites. Thought it was the CS/GT High Country Special reg. I guess it would help if I used more book marks and organized them.

Yeah, I am not a fan of the cougar tail lights either. I have seen a couple of fastbacks with stock lights and the Shelby rear spoiler that looks really good actually. Better than cougar IMHO. That is a super old picture, I think from the 80's. I don't see the airshock nipple but I bet it is there somewhere [:@]. Oh the good old dayze.

im located in northglenn, colorado. i have never seen this car before, and how it made it from canada is beyond me. i have located some weird mustangs living in colorado including a ski country special, she country speacial( which was a pink car with deluxe interior made in 67 for the ladies. i have the pics of the car, very similar paint colors, although this one was a more bluish hue. as soon as i get the pics to upload ill let you know

 

Sweet, I am right here in Aurora. Moving to Erie soon. Don't see a lot of Mustangs other than standard coupes. Only been here a few years though. Where is Northglenn?
