I have a great amount of respect for the guys who go concours. IT must be hard to trailer such a nice ride to a show. I love driving the muscle car too much.

And to reply to that, they didnt have multiple stages of base to clear coat either. that is mainly why the original paint chipped very easy. I have heard they do deduct about 20 points in paint if it does not have orange peel in the finish. that only applys to concourse trailer, thoroughbred, unrestored. I personally only go for concourse driven. this class is the more laid back. my car was wet sanded and buffed.
I get the deduction. The rules are simple. . . . if it wasn't like that from Ford, you lose points. The rules have to be pretty strrict because you have the nicest cars in the world competing for a first prize.
