Default Msd for 67

Hey guys almost time to fire up my build. Installing my msd 6l box. My car is a 67 coupe. Trying to figure out witch wire off the ignition is good for the ignition wire on the msd. The box is being mounted under my center console in inside the cabin. So it's right there and probably the easier place to take that wire to. There is a boat load of wires coming from the ignition... And I'm a plumber so wiring is not my specialty. Thanks.

Why would you put it inside the car? The wires as I see them on the net are not shielded and you will probably get all sorts of radio noise. The wires should be short to the coil and under the hood supplies the best cooling. Remember the pink wire that goes from the ignition key to the coil is a resistor wire and will not supply a full 12 volts when the engine is running.

I have all my other wires ran including the wires to the battery (in trunk). Wires to the coil and to the distributor have it in the car because it is hidden where i have it and so far I have done a good job hiding all the wires and junk in the engine compartment.

Also the run to the coil is within the leads that came with the box. Didn't add any wire, in fact I cut some off.
