Default procar classic seats

Hi

Has anybody installed the Procar classic seats in a Gen 1 mustang? The bottom bar on the driver seat back broke in two and I am considering whether to weld a new bar and fabricate the bottom of the driver side seat back or take the plunge and buy 2 new seats. My son is using the 1966 coupe as a daily driver in Los Angeles so I am inclined to get headrests put in the car and the new seats would solve this while keeping the stock vinyl seat look that we want to retain. When I looked on a few mustang part sites, the front bottom part of the seat looked much bigger than the stock seats. Let me know, thanks.

If height is a factor at all, or knee to steering wheel room, know that the procar seat bottoms are considerably taller than stock. Ask how I know...I'm 6'4

I grabbed info on them for my daughters mustang II. IIRC the overall height, including headrest is about 31-32"

Thanks guys. My son is a little over 6' so I was wondering about this. Not only the physical side but from a design perspective..... Would you guys have any pictures you could share? I sent a note to procar but haven't heard back. Thanks again!
