Default Rear End 8" or 9"

HI All,
I've tried to avoid posting this question thinking I should be able to figure this out myself, but.....
My 67 project I bought has what I'm assuming is not the stock rear. I took some pics of it and compared it to various 8" & 9" ID sites and pics, and was pretty sure it's an 8" but not 100% sure. I found some notes in a box of stuff that came with the car about converting to a 9". On the case, there is a 4025-A which I understand generally means an 8", but under that is the number 9.
If someone could positively ID this rear I would be grateful.
Thanks,
Keith

8 inch. forget numbers- the easiest way to tell is the bottom most bolt holding the center section in. If you can get a socket on it, its an 8. If you can only get a wrench on it, its a 9
