Default 1973 Mustang 2 bbl to 4 bbl

Recently I converted my 351 Cleveland from a 2 bbl to 4 bbl Edelbrock 1405. It starts and runs at idle perfectly. revs fine, but when I drive it, it feels sluggish and miss fires sometimes. Is there anything else I should change or upgrade on the engine? I do plan on adding headers this August.

You changed the intake also, right?

You used the 4 bbl intake for the 2V heads correct?

Sorry for the delay, traveling for work.

Yes, purchased a new carb and intake for the 2V setup. Installed and hooked up all the vacuum lines. I have not changed much else. I am a little tone deaf (can't tune a guitar for the life of me), so when I try to adjust the idle screws like they show on edelbrock until the rpm's go down, I do not hear that. In fact i hear no change at all. Could that mean something? Am I missing something?

You might want to get a good tach, or have someone in the drivers seat watch the dash for you.
Or put a camera in there that you can see while tuning. Hmm Tach selfies?

Get a vacuum gage...and advance your timing to just below pinging.
