After a year I finally got the Mustang back at the house. It has a fresh paint job and is looking good. I now have to get busy trying to get the rest of the work done to get her back on the road.

That looks really nice. When I was a kid, after my parents divorce my mom ended up with a mustang, same color green as this one. a 68 coupe. That was the car that made me love mustangs. I was 6. Make sure you post lots of pics as you reassemble.

Thanks Racer Dave. I was starting to think that everyone just thought that it was ugly or something. I had a lot of views on the post but not one response. I know not everyone likes that color but I love it.

That's the original color of my fastback. It's not for everyone, but I like it

It looks great! Its so good to get them back after a long time in the paint shop. Mine was in for 18 months. I'm glad yours is back home.

Thank you all for the compliments. Mine was at the shop for 13 months. The guy who did the work does restorations on the side so it takes him awhile but he did a great job. The car had been sitting in a field for 20 years when I found it. I still have a long way to go to get her back on the road but I'm making progress. At least now it looks like a car instead of a rusted heap which is how it looked when I bought it.
