what master cylinder??
So the 65 has been sitting im slowly starting to tinker with it. what master cylinder do i need for a dual bowl disc brake conversion?? I have SSBC disc conversion apparently the master cylinder failed and there wasnt any fluid left in the bowls and the inside is a mess. I need to replace it but i dunno what year car the conversion kit uses.

pay attention to the M/C you use, there's two version of plungers inside the M/C, one with the locking ridge and one without. You don't mention if you're running power or manual. For manual, the end of your push rod typically has a retainer for manual brakes. The SSBC brakes, which I have, give you the M/C without the ridge so the push rod and brake pedal flop around like an ole... (don't go there)... pick up an M/C from a 72-73 Torino, disc/drum, it should have a 15/16" bore and a ridge for the push rod retainer clip. You might have to replumb your fittings but its the right size and fit.
