hello all. this is my first post and I am hoping you all can help. I am completely rebuilding a 68 mustang that is a total rust bucket. I took all the dimensions I could before I started ripping her apart. so far everything has gone well until I was about to put the new front floor cross member in. it just looks wrong and I don't trust the location. short of reassembling the engine and trans putting it back into the car to get the location does anyone have a dimension where this cross member needs to be in relation to the frame.

as a note, my car was out of square and twisted. it is finally straight and to put the engine in I would have to move the car. it took me forever to straighten her back out.

any help would be greatly appreciated
