Working on an early 1965 coupe. Took off the rear bumper today. It's a bit pitted and rusty, but not awful. My question is:
How do you tell if a bumper is original, OEM or reman?
My guess is that mine is not original but is OEM. If so, is it worth re-croming? I've seen a few originals in a lot worse shape going for upwards of $350 and remans looking like new for $160. Trying to keep the car original and would love some opinions.
