Just received some used OEM alternator brackets and want to make them look nice before install. They look like they were black but I have seen pics with the mounting brackets painted ford engine blue. What is correct? And once I begin install it looks like the adjustable arm should be on top of the alternator and the long bolt and pink spacer should be on the bottom. And again I have seen several different installations. Thanks in advance for any input!
