Okay it is a fitting that goes into the manifold in which a line from the transmission connects to it. Does anyone know the type of line and the name of the fitting? I am trying to order everything i need to get this thing running again! 65 289

You might try Yearone.com Thye have a really good line of parts. Plus they are really good about helping you on the phone as well. I have also used mustangunlimited in Atlanta.

Good Luck

This part:

It's a manifold vacuum fitting for the auto trans and brake power booster. Do a search at California Mustang, NPD, etc and you should be able to find it.

Oh, and it does NOT come with the vacuum line. It is a seperate part.

lol!

That's a picture from the build up earlier this spring. (You can tell because the Holley is sitting on the manifold)

It MIGHT have some dust on it after 6 months and many many thousands of miles... Might.

(and yeah, where that car is concerned... very ****!)

no, It should connect somewhere behind the carb. It DOES NOT get antifreeze. Please dont do that. It's a vacuum.
