71 mach seats and c4 trans
woot! my dad just took me out to some guys garage which was overfilled with old mustangs and parts (he even had a 70 mach 1 and a 66 coupe) and he bought me black 71 mach1 seets for my 67 fastback. He also got a working c4 transmission for it (my old one was dying). We got the tranny for only 45 bucks and he said if it didnt work he would give us a refund (wow) and we paid 75 for the pair of high back black seats which are in pretty good condition and don't require recovering. I'm happy....now to stick in that tranny....

Sounds like a great find! if the tranny still had fluid in it it may be good to go. You should think about a new filter while it's out and easy to get to. Maybe front & rear seals as well.
Hey, do they have any other good deals on parts? Maybe like a Clev 4bbl engine?
Congrats on your find!
hmmm, you paid more for the seats? I am not a fan of high seats anymore. The seats in my mustang are more comfortable than my dads exlporer.
2atey9 you probably need to look into the granada swap in the FAQ section. I am guessing you have i6 spindles now?

Yeah I do. I purchased the disk brake conversion kit from NPD and Im in the process of doing that right now, but Im at a standstill till I get some v8 spindles.

A C4 trans is easy to rebuild, dont need much in the way of special tools. Toughest part is getting and keeping everything clean, and the band struts are a PITA. Otherwise I could possibly scan the intsructions and photos from my MOTOR's manual and send them to you guys. Kits are cheap and you wont have more than $150 in parts in it and it will work great.
If you want it, just send a pm and I will hook up the scanner again..

Perhaps even a left and right hand v8 spindle for a 66? Im having a heck of a time finding them. Even NPD dosent carry them.
