Default cold in Colorado!!

man it is freezing in Colorado, it got to 13 degrees last night, and as it stands at 6:22am its now 17 degrees!! i had to turn the heater on in the garage this morning for silver bullitt, and i took the 5.0 to work, and wierd enough, it was so cold, the power steering wouldnt work when i was leaving. It finally started working when the engine got warm, but thats never happened to me before. What temp does power steering fluid freeze at? Anyhow how cold is everyone else looking out there?[&:]

I run a 90 5.0 GT vert for a daily (including winter) Lots of fun on icy roads!

Never ran into a power steering issue like yours... Could you have gotten water in the fluid?

It's a balmy 65 here on the island. I used to have an old Ford that the power steering was hard to turn below 32 degrees, but it never froze up.

Naw i checked inside the resivoir, clean as could be, i checked up online about power steering fluid, and aparently if the dew point is high and its cold enough, it looses its durability, so i think it has something to do with it. Yeah its a really fun car, it has a whole bunch of torque, and is a lot more responsive than my GTA is, but still very fun to drive. I might do some more mods to it, but im happy with what it already has on it to tell you the truth.
