Default Cleaning up the Rimms

Hi

Just got my rimms yesterday. I bought them from some guy on ebay.
The are in tiptop shape, but they need to be cleaned up. There seems be some kind of hard powder on top of the rimms.
Any suggestions on how to get these perfect ?

Instead of a hard powder, are you sure that isn't the clear coat that is coming loose? You might try some paint remover is a small spot to see if that is the case.

I used mothers metal and chrome polish on my rims. It took some elbow grease, but they look terrific.
