Just Mustangs?
i was wondering if you guys talk about just mustangs here or other older ford cars cause i have a 91 mustang so im in the 5.0 part but i also have a 76 ranchero with a 460 and soon a toploader. i know its not a mustang but you guys are ford guys so im sure there are a couple of people that might like it.
I'm open...
I owned a '78 Ford Ranchero with a 400. That car was FUN! Sounded like a cop car every time you punched the gas Buh-WAHHHHHHH!
Wish I still had one. Post some pics so I can check it out.

well, we usually one talk about Mustangs. other cars come in as engine donor cars, and we make fun of Chevy sometimes, but thats about it. im sure we can help you with anything that isnt necessarily Ranchero specific. a lot of people here know a lot about paint in general, engines in general, etc.
sorry no pics that i can think of right now. its a ford brown but it needs a resto. i got it looking the year its got slotted mags 14X8 fronts with 15X10s rear with 275 60s on the back. the 460 is tweaked a little and it will go like a mad man. if i can find a pic ill post it.
That sounds cool, always liked Torino's and Ranchero's especially big inch powered types. Get rid of the brown, makes them look like Mr. Hanky
I really want an older Torino, like a 65-69 would be perfect.. Maybe some more Fairlanes too..

i wish i could get a pic of it burning out but the 460 kinda shelled out the tranny. it had a 400 in there and i couldnt just leave it in there so i rebuilt a 460 and dropped in there and about 10 tires later it slipps really bad every once in a while itll break them loose. and ya im getting rid of the brown for sure its going to be Lime Time Pearl from house of Kolor. and soaring my grandma and grandpa bought a brand new 1956 ford and i think it was a crown vic but i could of been wrong but it had the retracktible top but they sold it so i never got to see it.
I grew up a chevy guy (56 ht when I graduated hs) but when I shopped for a classic I decided on mustang, after two years of looking, because it's got 40 years of tradition. REally, something everyone remembers and recognizes (even little kids, "nice mustang mister") is more fun to drive to the Dairy Queen. My son helped turned me on to it when he decided he wanted to buy a true muscle car in 2001 and mustang was the clear (really only) choice. His triple black GT convert and my 66 200 sprint will end up in a photo collage soon. BTW, didn't pontiac blow it bringing back the GTO in that plain jane body?...zero charisma with that body style. GM blew it with impala and malibu, too. Great names, poor execution. Mustangs forever.
