MAN, I was driving to go get a pizza, and i must have been going to fast, One of my tires hit the corner of the road, and the car, turned sideways, slid accross the road, and ended up on the other side, of a bankment. IT was dark, and i hope i didn't hit someones fence. THis is a lesson, to never speed, ESPIACALLY in these old Mustangs. I hope i didn't tear up anything underneath, because, two tires are blown, and it's almost sitting on the ground. Ill know what the damage is in the morning, when i try and get it home.[]

 

Man, sorry to hear that. Hope it`s not more damage than a few hours in the garage during winter can`t fix.

I noticed before i left, they door, fender, and rocker moulding was crushed. And the mustang embelm was broke in half. I have a bad feeling, when i look at the front tomorrow, it's going to be wasted, and i dont need that, because, at the moment, i dont have a job, and cant keep affording to replace this stuff.[:@] Teenagers like myself, NEver speed. I cant wait to hear the talking to, im going to get from Glen.

I don't have to say anything. Sounds like you learned your lesson. What actually happened? Was there a drop off on the edge of the pavement? Just thank your lucky stars you are OK. The mustang can be repaired.

 

It doesnt sound too bad, it could always be much worse. In reality there are very few parts you cant get for the early cars. Even if you dont have the money now, you can wait a few years and do a full resto on it when you have the money and a place to do it. Think of it as a goal to work towards, something to drive you so you can have what you want in a few years. I still have my first car and it is on the list for its long overdue repair. I really miss driving it, but I want to do it right.

I did alot of stupid things in that car, and now I have to fix them. Good thing I didnt wad it up in a ball like a friend of mine did. At least I got alot of good parts from him for mine. Its not so bad, even if it does hurt now.

 

Glen, I'm fine, and i went and got the car this morning. The only thing wrong is the three tires, and it dented my rocker panel pretty good. Oh, and it ripped off my flowmasters i put on, and broke the mustang embelm on the side. I guess there was a drop off, because the rear wheel caught good, and spun the car sideways. I haven't really gotten a good look of underneath the car, but it should be alright. I Definalty learned my lesson, and want others to learn from it.
