Default Coffee brewing sound

Yesterday I noticed this wierd sound coming from the back of my car... it literally sounds like coffee brewing. At first I thought it might be the wheel bearings going out, but i can hear it when I'm idle. Any ideas? I'm clueless.

i would take two guesses: first guess would be an exhaust leak coming from the muffler, if you have clamps holding it to the pipe.
Second guess would be there is a whole lot of condensation built up in one of you mufflers, and it sits there, and when the exhaust gets hot it boils....although it would evaprate, unless its a bad head gasket, but you said it didnt smoke so.....ahh hell i dont know[&:]

I'd suggest looking at the exhaust hangers. The sound may be the pipes or muffler rattling around.

I know what it is......You really ought to check the oil in your mufflers. It sounds like they are getting low.
