i'm sure you could mount some small speakers under the dash. that's probably what i'll be doing, to where you can't even see them.

There is a replacement speaker that is actually two speakers that fits in the spot where the factory mono speaker went. Most catalogs carry them.

Unfortunately, those 2-in-1 dash speakers are made by Custom AutoSounds, and are worthless. I was foolish enough to buy 2 in the past, and both went bad inside of a month. You'd be better off making your own (from the AM radio speaker frame and a couple small name-brand speakers).

No, not the ones made to hold speakers. Black only - then you spray-dye to desired color.

Actually, you can buy them in colors. They are cheaper, and in color, but, you have to cut out the hole. Thats whay i did, and they look great.

I have a 67 in my basement and although I am not going to put much of a system in it becuase I want this to be for power, not a sound show, Ive always thought they could have some serious potential. CJ PoneyParts carries those kick panels but I think only in black. If you cant find the color you want, you could always have a local paint shop make them a nice color of whatever you want. Ive also seen the underside of the package tray with the 5 large holes that could easily hold 5 speakers and the one in the dash. And that arge trunk could hold some subs. But, I dont want to cut any sheet metal or do this to it.

If you didnt want to buy the kickpanels, ad you didnt have a problem with cutting out factory metal, then you could always pop off the dash as much as you can till you can get a drimmel saw in there and cut out some holes for speakers like the original. I cant remember the amount of room but you could probably fit 2 more up in there and have them hidden. All in all though, it would probably be easier to have the kicks painted but just putting in an idea.
