ya, i probably should of mentioned why I did my order, my engine is in a seperate car so i'm doing the body work now and then taking the engine out while its getting painted and then when its back plopping the nice prepped engine in and then all I have left is the interior

im thinkin i might grab a set of new bumpers first though, i know NPD has them cheap and i live 45 minutes from the border, just cause the ones i have now look like @$$ and i dont want it lookin like hell and goin like hell, i want it lookin half decent but to go like a cut cat, thanx for all the advise so far though.

Good day, as far as the question on the windsheild / headliner if your no drawing water forget about it for now. I would sudjest get the mechanical done with first, trans swap not a issue. 302 been around a long time easy to rebiuld/ replace.As far as the exterior cosmetics/paint do it last, if you ar like the rest of us you can`t walk around new paint job without damaging it eventually. Replacing windshield no biggy , twenty dollar gasket some string/sealer. even if your screwin around a 2-3 hr job. You figure pull out front/rear glass spend a day messing with your headliner/next your glass. It ain`t all bad just time.

definitely do the tranny first. you never want a car that looks really good but wont drive. i would rather have a crappy exterior than a crappy engine. at least you can blow past anyone that makes a remark about your car.

im not here to make friends you douche, im here to learn about my car. if all the friends you have are on the internet then all i can assume is that you are 35 years old, virgin, living in yer parents basement, and that car in yer pic is a toy you got for christmas

so far with my 71 mach restoration, im pretty much done with the engine, now im doing body work, and then finally interior then paint

and daver, talk about being stereotypical
