Default headers for 67 automatic... recommendations

Please give me recommendations for the best fitting, best value headers for 67 289 with automatic. May be a 302 block if that makes any difference.

Thanks

Do you have power steering? That changes everything! If you do then you will need a special bracket for long tubes to move the power steering box.(i think it is the box) Then you would be better off to get shorty headers although they cost a bit more!

Yes, I have power steering. I would like recommendations on exact brand of shorty header that would bolt up with no problems.

Thanks

i don't know what your price range is but i would go with hooker super comp. they are like the best headers u can buy.... in my opinion
and im not sure about the power steering thing u can call hooker and ask them...?[sm=yikesomg.gif]

They are shorty so they wont drag on the ground and get caught on speed bumps.
You also don’t need to worry about the power steering stuff. They are ceramic coated and wont rust and the "paint" doesn’t rub off so they have a nice clean polished aluminum look to them even after they have been heated.

The flange is extra thick so the bolts are less likely to unscrew themselves.

Worth considering them im happy and they don’t cost a whole lot.
