...Worst case, it's a scam and I get my money returned...
No, actually the worst case would be you don't get your money returned!

Please be very careful. It truly does smack of scam to me. Surely you could find a similar car for sale a lot closer to you - or at least in the continental US. Just watch your step...

Let me guess it is Yellow?[8D] Who sells a mach 1 for 7200? Just ask yourself that. I have played around with a scammer and they ALL say that they have connections with shipping. I had told them i lived right in the Area where the car was located, and got no response.

i don't know much about how the 3rd party deal works, but I'd feel a lot more comfortable dealing with someone in person...

plus you won't be able to see it in person or drive it....pictures don't show everything

also, make sure it isn't a salvage title
what's a salvage title is that bad y is it diffrent y don't i want 1 if it makes the car cheaper??

Yeah I know it really is too good to be true, but there's that little part of me that wants to believe that it is, since it's such a nice car. But no actually here's the link in case you were interested in the color. http://www.classicsandcustoms.com/search/14002.asp

$7200 for a 428cj mach one R-code and you are asking if it is a trick?

I think it says on the exact same page:

Vehicles with low asking prices may be a cause for suspicion.

I've decided not to do it, I really just needed to be brought down to earth I suppose, or else I wouldn't have posted here. The fact that he's now supposedly in Milan, and the address he gave me is in Rome, yet the car is listed in La Porte, Texas brings up other warning signs. But how sweet would it have been if it where actually legit.

If I lived closer and could do the transaction in person, yea, I'd be allllllll over that. I would feel sorry for dissuading you if it was legit, but there are a lot of "fishy" signs.

ANyone here near La Porte Texas wanna go check this out for him?

Yeah, That would be awesome. What you can say to him, is that you are flying up to look at the car, and see how he reacts.
