Does anyone know whether a 460 will fit into a 1967 or 1968 Fastback? If mods are necessary, how extensive? Shock Towers? Thanks.

The 460 will fit? I know a guy with a 67 fastback and he had a 460 in his before he put a 428 in it! So it does work. I am not sure but I do not hink he needed to make any modifications

Is this car for the street? If so consider building a Windsor You will keep the handling since the weight over the front wheels wont increase much. I decided to keep my 289 over a 390 for that reason winding roads are a lot of fun now will be scary with a big block. These cars were really designed for small blocks even Carrol Shelby didnt really like the GT 500s terrible handling but good drag cars.
