I've got a `65 fastback. The export brace that I have doen't quite fit. Is there a trick?

Did the original braces fit right? Aftermarket parts dont always fit match the holes from the originals to the export. If they match your body is sagging with bracing removed jack car up a little under rear of front frame rail then install that side then repeat for other side.</P>

Default Export brace

Jack the car up off the ground using the front crossmember(the bar directly under the engine) and let it sit that way for a while. This will let the shock towers "relax" and it should fit in place.
