I used to have a GT/CS. What color was the one on Barret? Motor size and tranny? Anyone know? Mine was a 390 C6 car, saturn yellow was the color. If I remember the name of the color right. Been awhile.

 

The car on Barrett-Jackson was Seafoam green. It had a 302 in it. Yours was most likely Meadowlark Yellow, unless it was a special order paint. A 390 GT/CS is a very desirable and rare car these days. They only produced around 129 of them. Check out www.californiaspecial.com for more information. What did you do with your GT/CS? three Shelby GT 500s were on the block and the lowest went for 137K.

 

It's mind boggling what these old cars are worth, huh? You guys hang on to your classics. It's money in the bank.

 

Mustanglvr I think you are right about the color. It has been many years now. The car was sold in the early 80's to a guys Missouri. The guy bought 2 cars from us the other was a 67 GT big block fastback 4 speed car that was red. I was in Colorado Springs at the time. If you know of the car let me me know. I would be interested.

 

You are definitely right about that....
The only problem I see is sentimental values are hard to calculate....LOL.

 

Anyone have any idea when they are auctioning the 2007 cobra today?
